Broken: Not: Apple iPod shuffle page

ShuffleApproximately 18 million This Is Broken readers have notified me that Apple's new iPod shuffle page contains the following warning: "Do not eat iPod shuffle."

I don't think this is broken - Apple is just having a bit of fun in talking about a fun product.

(P.S. Kidding about the 18 million bit. Thanks to Mike Kalajian, Benjamin Auch, and others for pointing it out.)

Comments:

whoo.. thank goodness that warning was there... i nearly made a terrible mistake...

Not so sure this wasn't broken, since it seem's Apple has fixed it.

Ironically, on the UK version of this same ad, the disclaimer states not to Chew it! Ha.

Hmmm... it's disappeared. Probably a joke by an Apple web designer.

Yeah, it looks like Apple took it off. What a shame. Hi Ben!

Just in case the "Smaller than a pack of gum" line confuses younger buyers. ;)

I loved it. Yeah, it is stupid but that is kinda the point.

There are going to be a lot of people trying to sue after they dilebratly choke on that just to make some easy money.

Where did my MP3 go?...

I saw a picture sent to Dane Cook (a comedian) of a man with his iPod in his mouth. Perhaps someone who worked on the website saw this picture? Possible, maybe.
