Broken: (Fixed) Bovine-environmental problem
That outstanding institution of journalism, The Weekly World News, reports on an important fix to an environmental problem:
NEW VACCINE PREVENTS CATTLE FARTS FROM CAUSING CLIMATE CATASTROPHE!
We here at This Is Broken will continue to monitor this important scientific development as it breaks (the story, that is)... starting today, which of course is April 1st.
Ahem.
This is great! Does this mean that the vaccine will be passed to me when I ingest the meat or drink the milk?
My wife will be so thankfull and I can finally stop taking all that Beano.
I have been eating more beef lately and already feel much stronger from all the extra growth hormones that I have been getting.
I guess theres no more bedtime "dutch ovens" for me and the wife.

nope, sorry. this is a valid scientific statement and is entirely true. methan in cow farts does contribute to global warming, and of that there is no doubt. having said that, the headline is rather funny
Why don't hey just take the methane and pipe it to a big 900 HP engine and connect a generator to it to power you home and maybe a few others?

I wonder, does this work on dogs? I have a 120 lab that has on several occasions cleared not only the room but the house after getting into "people food."

I suppose a large herd of cows with intestinal problems could cause sudden catastrophic climate warming over a large dairy farm in a remote part of South Dakota...
