Broken: Salad type

I decided not to order the "large masculine" salad.

Someone out there likes Kevin Sorbo a bit too much.

Posted by: game kid at April 28, 2006 12:08 AM

haha don't want to be shown up by your salad.

Posted by: gmangw at April 28, 2006 12:10 AM

But the large masculine salad smells like BO and comes with a free scrotum-scratcher! Who wouldn't want that?

Posted by: corky at April 28, 2006 02:23 AM

Ummm, correct me if I'm wrong, but THIS IS NOT BROKEN!!!! You may think that it is a funny name, but I fail to see how it is broken. C'mon people, let's get with it.

Are you aware that this is a misspelling of "mesclun".

Posted by: Carlos Gomez at April 28, 2006 08:30 AM

Must be for those "MANLY Vegans" in the world....Wonder what sort of dressing choices come with....WD40? "New Car Smell"? perhaps a nice "HEMI"?

Posted by: Pumpkin Noggin at April 28, 2006 08:41 AM

Carlos - Thank you for pointing that out. I actually never heard of a "mesclun" salad. I was wondering how the heck anyone could come up with masculine as a name for a salad, but now that I understand what is wrong, I think it is pretty damn funny!

Posted by: Chaos at April 28, 2006 09:23 AM

They should have remained consistent and called the other salad a "Large Roman".

What is up with this epidemic of no one reading? Guys, it really isn't that hard.

The post originated from the "Just For Fun" category. PLEASE read the entire post, not just the part you want to reply to! Yeesh...hate to drive around you folks...

That said, this is hilarious. Especially KarmaBaby's idea. Large Masculine and Large Roman...sounds like the Testosterone Rabbit Food Special to me.

Anybody know where a large, masculine guy can get his sald tossed?

Posted by: GMoney at April 28, 2006 10:36 AM

It's better than a mescalin salad. Or maybe not.

Posted by: Danimal at April 28, 2006 12:07 PM

Should read: mescaline

Posted by: Danimal at April 28, 2006 12:09 PM

I'm about to buy it, and I'm like, "Wow, that's one BIG salad! *laugh*"

Posted by: another guy named Alex B. at April 28, 2006 12:29 PM

I guess that's better than if they'd offered a large mescaline salad.

Dood! U forgot to put the FORWARDSLASH before the b in ur bold tag!! hhaahhaa that is broken!!!

Posted by: NCeJ at April 28, 2006 01:25 PM

* fixed *

Posted by: NCeJ at April 28, 2006 01:26 PM

Nothin better than tossing a big roman head lettuce salad. Add some cherry tom toes and some Italian dress and I'm good to go. BTW, there should be a new category for all these 'Engrish' posts.
