Broken: Yesterday's seafood

YesterdaysI spotted this sign earlier this summer: a seafood restaurant named "Yesterday's".

I can just imagine.. "Well, honey, what do you feel like eating tonight?" "How about some of Yesterday's seafood?" "Mmmmmmmmm!"

Comments:

I wont even bother with first,

I guess that is broken, It could mean that when you walk in in time warps you back to yesterday

If you go in tomorrow will it be Today's? Second

Yes but who's on first? Wasn't Yesterday on the team somewhere?

Did no one notice the typo on "Specials" ????

Is that in Maine on route 1? I think I've been there.

No, it's right outside of Ocean City, NJ...wow...seeing that place brings back some great memories! It's actually a nice place...

When I read Yesterday's Seafood, I imediatly thought, I don't want yesterday's, I want today's seafood.

When's the last time you asked, "What's the catch of yesterday? Yeah I'll have some of that day old stuff. No freash fish for me!"

But then again, you can look at it as Yesterday's Seafood Restaurant, and start to think about going back to a simpler time, like yesterday.

Yesterday

all my trouble seemed so far away

Now it looks as though they`re here to stay

Oh I believe in yesterday

Suddenly

I`m not half the man I used to be

there`s a shaddow hanging over me

Oh yesterday came suddenly

Why she had to go I don`t know

she wouldn`t say

I sad something wrong

Now I long for yesterday

Yesterday

Love was such an easy game to play

Now I need a place to hide away

Oh I believe in yesterday

Why she had to go.......

Yesterday

Love was such an easy game to play

Now I need a place to hide away

Oh, I believe in yesterday

Mm mm mm mm mm mm mm............Seafood!

Yesterday's

all my seafood seemed so far away

Now there's typos on the sign today

Oh I believe in Yesterday's

I find it rather bizarre that it's both a seafood restaurant and a liquor store. But maybe that's just me.

Does Yesterday's have a Today's Special on their menu? Some places even advertise what will be the "Special of the day" for tomorrow. I ate at Yesterdays' yesterday & I also plan to eat at Yesterday's today, so what choice do I have for tomorrow? Well, it could be confusing - not broken, but fun. What about Tomorrowland?

codeman38 ""I find it rather bizarre that it's both a seafood restaurant and a liquor store. But maybe that's just me.""

codeman, its a liqor store cuz its right outside a dry town. *is in no alcohol, gasp*

but all in all, its a great resturant, despite the name

I've had Dungeness Crab before, but never with a side of Snow King.

Guess now we'll have to start calling it a fisherman's apostrophe instead of grocer's.

Although the seafood is already Yesterday's, one might want to show up early for the specialls - wouldn't want to sit down to a speciall from 5pm, at midnight.

The Fisherman's Apostrophe! Now *that's* a high class place to eat!

I think they are saying it's seafood caught yesterday. If you're not in a coastal location that would be a way of saying it's fresh.
